Stoneridge has been designing new homes for contractors and family’s in the region for many years.  Stoneridge first listens to and assist in identifying the client’s needs.   These needs are responded to and represented in an architectural design.  Next, the details of the design are developed with the client.  This is followed by the architectural development of the construction documents used for: Financing, permitting, bidding and construction.   Stoneridge Design has an extensive history in designing homes and working directly with future home owners to develop an architectural solution that is a response to their needs, interests and requests. 
Where possible Stoneridge Design supports the benefits of integrating the Clients’ program with as many complementary professions as practical including for example, the Fine Arts, Architecture and  Landscape Architecture.  This integration improves wellness of mind body and spirit.  Often this integration includes the incorporation of technologies that improve health, conserve energy and improve the quality of life. 
Daylighting is an example.  Stoneridge Design practices landscape architecture and seeks to knit landscape to architecture where possible to extend the interior to outdoor rooms, to the landscape, and to respond to the context beyond, urban, suburban, rural or natural.  In composite this integration provides many benefits to the homeowner.  Stoneridge provides calculations to confirm that a design is in conformity to current energy efficiency requirements.
When agreeable to the client Stoneridge integrates the use of natural materials that support the mission to build homes for posterity that stand the test of time.  Well designed homes with quality materials tend to withstand the test of time, they become functioning historic architecture that is cherished by many today.
Stoneridge can provide material and cost itemizations.  This allows the client to gauge with some accuracy material quantities and cost and establish a rough idea of what the labor cost will be to construct their home.  Exact cost are represented by the contractors bids. 
Finally, Stoneridge typically assist the client with the permitting process and often assists with obtaining bids and can provide assistance with construction administration tasks as needed.
